Mysteryland, the longest running Electronic Dance Music festival in the world, hosted its first event on US soil Memorial Day weekend at the legendary Bethel Woods camp grounds in New York; home of the original '69 Woodstock Festival. The echoing sentiments of peace, love, and unity brought good vibes and positive spirits to campers, regardless of early temperamental weather.
Like it or not, the majority of the EDM community commonly recognizes the DJ Mag Top 100 DJ’s list as a noteworthy ranking of the best DJ's in the world. However, I think we can all agree that gross earnings and popularity contests aren’t the best ways to measure skill and talent. Even though we didn’t go to every party or see every well-known DJ this year, as we begin a new year of exciting experiences, we would like to share our favorite memories of 2013 with you. Keep in mind, this is just the opinion of our group and only takes into consideration the festivals and shows we chose to go to.
