Doing It Right
Easy Exit - For the first time ever at a camping music festival, we didn't have to wait in line to get out of the camp grounds.
Great Crowd - Coming from NYC, we were pleased to find perfect crowd density; the venue was not oversold! We met awesome people from reputable crews all over New England; most notably Shipfam, ECRC, and Bang on! NYC
Excellent Production - The view of the festival from our camp grounds was beautiful. A field of flags lined the entrance to the festival. Engaging and durable art installations could be found everywhere between unique stages of all sizes and musical tastes.
Camping Tent Stage - It was really awesome to have a big tent stage set up inside the camp. A wide variety of music was held there during Saturday and Sunday, keeping the campsite bumping.
Menu Options - Delicious and mostly healthy options were available in the campsite and venue, and menus catered well to vegans & vegetarians. Cuisine included traditional pub fare, Greek & Mediterranean, Asian Fusion, Craft Bread, and even Vegan coconut Ice Cream.
Bathrooms - We were please to find the port-a-potties were cleaned and stocked at least twice a day with little to no wait.
Bang On! NYC - This talented group of seasoned disco dancers saved our Friday night and hosted dope after parties all weekend long.
Disco Ice Cream - A double scoop of Fuck Yea for a private party where you could score delicious homemade ice cream.
Doing it Wrong
No Reentry - We know that it's supposed to keep the lines down for easy entry, but it's not very reasonable to ask attendees paying $240+ a head to carry all they needed to camp for 3 days in a single mile-long trip from the car.
Fuck You Rain - Consistent showers put a damper on our fun Friday and Saturday, making it hard to dress appropriately for the venue.
Basic Pre Party - We've attended less basic day glow parties. Nicky Romero was boring, Tritonal spent 90 minutes clearing the dance floor with entirely too much talking and sloppy drops of uninspired big room house.
Eat Much? - Despite the good menu options, there weren't enough vendors in the camp grounds to support the number of hungry people. Patrons in line for breakfast weren't served until lunch.
Girls in Heels - HA, HAA, HAAAAAAAAAAA. We don't know why this still happens, but it never fails to amuse us.
