Emerging electro-house artist Nom De Strip released his latest original track, 'I Can't Believe' under the Rising Music label on 12/16/13. Edinburgh-born producer Chris Elliot aka 'Nom De Strip' first caught #FuckRealLife Crew's attention when his remix of Tommy Trash's 'Monkey See, Monkey Do' was released on Mau5trap records. After the initial exposure, Chris Lake scooped up Edinburgh born producer Chris Elliot for his label, Rising Music. We've been hearing his touch on dance floor hits all year long. In March his original track 'Techno Saturday' was teased in sets all over Ultra in preparation for it's April 1 release. He's been producing, collaborating and remixing bangers from a wide variety of genres all year long, each featuring his clean sound design and filthy electro-house style. We were fortunate to catch Nom De Strip this September at Webster Hall in New York City, and we can't wait to see him again at Lights All Night in Dallas, TX to rage in the New Year with us next week.

More Information on This Artist
On December 17, 2013, Paul Bäumer of the Bingo Players passed away after fighting cancer for over a year. Paul played alongside Maarten Hoogstraten as a Dutch Dance and Electro House DJ/producer duo. They are best known for their hit songs "Cry (Just a Little)" and "Rattle". In addition, Bingo Players own and operate Hysteria Records. The label releases their own singles as well as tracks from up-and-coming artists such as Bassjackers, MAKJ, and Sandro Silva. Paul announced that he had been diagnosed with cancer on the Bingo Players’ facebook page on 7/19/2013 and that Maarten would be representing the duo on the road for the foreseeable future. Paul continued working in the studio and managing Hysteria record label while seeking medical treatment.
Maarten announced the news on Facebook this morning and has cancelled all upcoming gigs, taking time off to mourn the loss with family and friends. On behalf of the EDM community, #FuckRealLife Crew offers Bäumer's friends and family our sincerest condolences, and we encourage fans to leave sentiments on the Bingo Players’ facebook page.
More information and soundcloud links for the Bingo Players can be found below.
This morning Pasqualle Rotella and EDC made the official announcement on the venue selection and ticket dates for the 2014 annual EDC New York City stop on the road to Vegas.
EDC NY will take place at Metlife Stadium in New Jersey as it did in 2012, where we found that there was more room for the stages to spread out, hopefully meaning less sound interference and more room to dance! We're also excited to see if EDC will open the stadium again this year to host a stage inside as they did in 2012.
Taking place over Memorial day weekend May 24-25th, EDC NY will be sharing the weekend with ID&T's Mysteryland (more info here), also to take place in NY at the historic Woodstock grounds. Tickets will be available THIS Weds, December 11th at 9am EST on Ticketmaster with GA tiers at $199, $225 & $239. If you've been exceptoinally good this year, EDC could be under your tree!!

Just Announced: Mysteryland 2014 tickets will go on sale December 12th at 10am, with a special pre-sale December 11th for those who sign up here. #FuckRealLife is really REALLY excited for this one! Mysteryland has been #DoingItRight for over 2 decades overseas, and is one of the longest running electronic music festivals in the world. Taking place at the original Woodstock 1969 location in Bethel Woods, NY over Memorial Day weekend (May 23-25) this spring, Mysteryland is 21+ only.
ID&T also brought the US Sensation (check out our glowing review here) and Tomorrowworld this year, two of #FuckRealLife Crew's top rated festivals. We expect really great things from this one, so make sure you get your tickets ASAP too! We've already signed up to get pre-sale access to tickets, which will offer camping (starting at $234) and non-camping (starting at $159) options for the 3-day festival.
